3 of The Best Free Tools For Your Business

business advice

While I understand the important of investing in your business, I also know that photography businesses are crazy expensive to run, so today I'm sharing the best free tools I've found for running your business.

1. Wave Accounting

This is hands-down one of my favorite tools. It syncs with my bank account, paypal, credit cards, etc. and it pulls all of my transactions into the software automatically. To tell you the truth, it's almost completely hands-off for me! I make it a habit of checking it 1-2 times per month just to make sure things are categorized correctly and I'M DONE. At the end of the year, I print off the Profit/Loss statement and the stress of tax seasons is just a little bit more manageable. They also have an app that allows you to scan receipts into the software and an app for invoicing on the go. Love it!

2. Buffer

Technically, if you want to handle more than 3 social media accounts or schedule more than 10 posts at a time per account, this is a paid service, but I use it for Facebook and Instagram and just make it a point to schedule posts every Monday morning for the upcoming week. This saves me so much time!

3. Google Voice

You can use Google Voice to get a second number just for your business. I've used Google Voice for years and it's a fantastic service. Not only does it offer free calls, but you can also receive voicemails and use it for texting. This service has allowed me to keep better work/life balance, so please, if you're struggling with that, give it a try!

What are some of your favorite free tools for your business? I'd love to hear all about them!
